ARAM Technologies is currently seeking a candidate to fill a new IT Help Desk Tier 1 position in the Crowley, LA, area. In this role, you will provide support to end users covering a variety of IT inquiries. The ideal candidate will be patient and detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


  • Provide first-tier support to end users for PCs, server applications, and hardware
  • Respond to and diagnose incidents through discussions with users
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Communicate through telephone calls, email correspondence, and personnel requests for technical support
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
  • Troubleshoot camera and DVR issues
  • Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to identify and correct problems and restore service
  • Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties
  • Recommend systems modifications to improve user experience
  • Collect information from callers and ensure that work orders are promptly and accurately documented in the ticketing system
  • Utilize the knowledge base to guide callers through resolving reported issues
  • Ensure that every request is acknowledged, documented accurately, and worked as a first-contact resolution or reassigned appropriately



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Office Suite
  • Ability to set up network attached devices (printers, workstations & cameras, etc.)
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service and problem-solving skills
  • The means/ability to travel locally and provide support at multiple locations
  • Passed background check


Previous experience in an IT support role is preferred, but not required.
